Packages received through Shiplink can be returned to the U.S only (Conditions Apply).
You are required to contact your seller or supplier for a supplier’s RMA.
Shiplink must receive all required documents and merchandise no later than 30 days prior to the return authorization’s expiration date.
The Requirements Are:
- A return authorization issued by shipper or manufacturer
- Original invoice
- The package you want to return.
If you receive a package that you would like to be destroyed, collected by someone or returned to shipper, the following options and associated costs are available:

Yes, all packages are insured at USD $1.50 for each USD $100.00 declared value or portion thereof.
We do not accept liability for glass, ceramic, packages that are not packed properly and monies of any kind. A USD $1.50 fuel surcharge will be applicable to all shipments.
Once received assuming your package was already pre-alerted, a status update will be sent out to the registered user via email after being processed.
No Shiplink does not have a weight limit
The normal turnaround time for shipments to arrive in Jamaica is one (weeks), however, there may be situations that might cause some delays.
The following are reasons why shipments can arrive late:
- Bad Weather
- Crowded Ports and Terminals
- Supply-Chain Disruptions
- Rolled Shipments – “Rolled shipments” mean that ocean freight cargo has not been loaded onto the vessel it was meant to sail on. This happens when carrier capacity decreases while the customer demand increases.
Please note that a container will not be shipped until it is completely full, therefore, your cargo may be delayed.

Once shipment arrives at destination port, it is then tallied and reconciliation is done. Consignees can then call our local offices to make an appointment to collect their cargo or have it delivered via our door-to-door service. Customers can also opt for pre-clearance where we handle the customs clearance for you. The only thing that you would be required to do is let us know when you will be collecting your cargo.
Customers can take their cargo to our warehouse or have one of trusted drivers collect from your home. The cargo is then processed and loaded onto a container to be shipped via air or ocean.

Yes, storage fees are charged if your item(s) is/are not collected 7 days from the notification of arrival at your pickup location.
The storage fee will be $5 per day per item thereafter.
Failure to collect item(s) within 30 days after the item(s) has/have been delivered to your pickup location will result in the company auctioning the item(s) at its next scheduled Auction.
Wait time on all package(s) commences when the item arrives at our Florida Warehouse and not when the item is shipped from the seller.

Pre-alert is a means by which a registered Shiplink member uses the information provided by the merchant such as the merchants name, invoice for the item(s), description of item(s), cost of the item(s), courier tracking along with the courier name.
A pre-alert alerts us that you have a package in transit.
A pre-alert is made after the merchant provides you with tracking information.
The pre-alert feature provides a form where you will add all the relevant information needed to create a successful pre-alert.
Please note that all the important fields have asterisk.
Once the information such as your full name and account number is visible on the package a pre-alert will be made for you by our Florida attendant and updated BUT this can also hinder the time at which your package is processed because a manual search for your account would be done.
If your account number is missing from your package label or your name is incorrect the package is classified as anonymous therefore, your package will be quarantined until the verification procedure by the member is completed.
Think of it like this, what if I order an item and the merchant does not send me a tracking number. I will never know where my package is and the time it will be delivered.
So, pre-alerting helps us keep track of your package(s) which aids in sorting and delivering your package(s) to you in a timely manner.
Prealerting helps in the smooth transition of your package giving updates via email from the time it was sent from the merchant to your Florida address and then to Jamaica.

YES – All Packages Entering The Country Are Liable To Be Charged Duties And Taxes By The Customs Department.
Jamaica Customs Agency requires your TRN when cargo is being cleared by our agent.
Jamaica Custom Agency requires that an invoice be tendered to them during the custom clearance process. As such, you are required to upload or email your receipt/invoice as proof of payment.
If the price paid exceeds US$50.00 or if the items are under $50 but deemed to be of a commercial nature, customs duties can be levied at the point of inspection by Jamaica Customs. The decision to levy custom duties and taxes is at the discretion of the Inspecting Customs Officer.
Shiplink will pay Customs Duty and associate fees when clearing the items through Jamaica Customs.
For goods exceeding US$299, we will ask the account holder to prepay customs duty prior to customs clearance, you will be advised via email as soon as the charges are known.

Hazardous items are considered dangerous or restricted as determined by Jamaica Customs, IATA and the FAA. Hazardous items are goods that require special treatment before they can be shipped via air.

All explosive materials including fireworks, flash powders, small arms ammunition or any items utilizing or containing explosive substances, detonators, flammable materials or propellants.
GASES COMPRESSED:
Gases, liquefied and non-liquefied compressed gases, flammable gases, including the containers for transporting these materials. This also includes aerosols.
FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS:
Flammable liquid with a flashpoint below 100°F, Pyrophoric liquids that ignite spontaneously at temperatures at or below 130°F, any other combustible liquids.
FLAMMABLE SOLIDS:
Materials that may be readily ignited by friction or retained heat, including spontaneously combustible and water-reactive materials.
OXIDISERS & ORGANIC PEROXIDES SUBSTANCES:
These include chlorates, permanganates an inorganic peroxides and any organic derivatives of hydrogen peroxide.
INFECTIOUS AND TOXIC SUBSTANCES:
Any substance liable to cause death or injury or harm to human health if swallowed, inhaled or contacted by the skin. Substances which are infectious to humans and/or animals, including genetically modified micro-organisms, biological products, diagnostic specimens and clinical and medical waste.
RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS:
Any and all substances or combination of substances that spontaneously gives off ionizing radiation including items that may contain these substances.
CORROSIVE MATERIALS:
A liquid or solid that causes visible destruction or irreversible damage to human tissue on contact, or in the case of leakage will materially damage or destroy other goods or the means of transportation.
OTHER REGULATED MATERIALS ARTICLES:
Substances, which during transportation presents a danger not covered by other classes above.

All explosive materials including fireworks, flash powders, small arms ammunition or any items utilizing or containing explosive substances, detonators, flammable materials or propellants.
GASES COMPRESSED:
Gases, liquefied and non-liquefied compressed gases, flammable gases, including the containers for transporting these materials. This also includes aerosols.
FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS:
Flammable liquid with a flashpoint below 100°F, Pyrophoric liquids that ignite spontaneously at temperatures at or below 130°F, any other combustible liquids.
FLAMMABLE SOLIDS:
Materials that may be readily ignited by friction or retained heat, including spontaneously combustible and water-reactive materials.
OXIDISERS & ORGANIC PEROXIDES SUBSTANCES:
These include chlorates, permanganates an inorganic peroxides and any organic derivatives of hydrogen peroxide.
INFECTIOUS AND TOXIC SUBSTANCES:
Any substance liable to cause death or injury or harm to human health if swallowed, inhaled or contacted by the skin. Substances which are infectious to humans and/or animals, including genetically modified micro-organisms, biological products, diagnostic specimens and clinical and medical waste.
RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS:
Any and all substances or combination of substances that spontaneously gives off ionizing radiation including items that may contain these substances.
CORROSIVE MATERIALS:
A liquid or solid that causes visible destruction or irreversible damage to human tissue on contact, or in the case of leakage will materially damage or destroy other goods or the means of transportation.
OTHER REGULATED MATERIALS ARTICLES:
Substances, which during transportation presents a danger not covered by other classes above.

The customs act prevents the importation of specific items without the requisite import license. These items (see but not limited to) should not be shipped via Shiplink.
Failure to comply will lead to the seizure of package (s), $ penalty breaches and or prosecution.
